The Start of Summer?
It's an exceptionally busy week in The Scraplet Compound. I've just done two markets spread over three days covering the Bank Holiday Weekend, which was very exciting. The first was at Seagulls Paint, for their Open House & Mini Market on Saturday 29th May. Then I had two days at Kirkstall Abbey Market on Sunday 30th and Monday 31st of May.
Next up is a day at Headingley Heart on 12th June... Before the run up to Kirkstall Festival in July and Gateways Festival in Skipton come August.
So it's firing on all cylinders currently. There's Scraplets everywhere. It's hard to judge how much stock you'll need for a market, but having done four days of "selling" now I reckon I can do it without running out of Scraplets!
I've got a decent gazebo and a couple of display tables now. It's the basics covered. I've still got a shitload of jobs to do before I'll be happy with the display, but it's a case of priorities at this point! I have a vision of how I want a Scraplets stall to look like in the future, but I've got to build that bit by bit and see what works. There really aren't enough in the days before Saturday to reach the Scraplet display zenith so I'll just have to make do!
